Burky II was my first attempt at designing and building an autogyro using one sheet of 6mm depron and minimal wood . A very simple design with soft fly characteristics and a light rotor load. It is one of those models that comes out on a calm summers evening. I have seen a few of these built by different gyronuts and it is typically a firm favourite.
Burky was a name given by my Dad to one of his first rc models, a Mercury Galahad from the early 70's. This name has stuck in my old grey matter! it was just a matter of time before one of my designs would be called this!....there are other daft names waiting in pipeline too!
